We believe there is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. In the beginning, God demonstrated His power, wisdom, and goodness by creating the world and everything in it. God sustains His creation through His divine power and providence, operating within history to fulfill His redemptive purposes.
Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. According to the Scriptures, he died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins. Further, He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven, where He is now our High Priest and Advocate at the right hand of the Majesty on High.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, sent by the Father and the Son; the Holy Spirit applies for Christ’s saving work by enlightening the minds of sinners about their need to be saved. He renews and indwells each believer upon salvation, becoming their source of assurance, strength, wisdom, and gifting for building up the church. The Holy Spirit guides believers in understanding and applying the Bible. Appropriated by faith, His power and control empower believers to lead a life of Christ-like character and bear fruit for the Father’s glory.
We believe Scripture (Old and New Testaments) in its entirety originated with God, and He revealed it to chosen authors. Scripture speaks with God's authority while simultaneously reflecting these human authors' backgrounds, styles, and vocabularies. In their original manuscripts, we hold that the Scriptures are infallible and inerrant; they are the unique, full, and final authority on all matters of faith and practice. There are no other writings similarly inspired by God.
The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe. Only those who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. The Return of Jesus Christ – The personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
We believe Water Baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus removes our sins (Acts 2:38, Acts 4:12, Acts 8:16, Acts 19:5). Just as repentance connects us to His cross, Baptism unites us to His burial (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14). Jesus and the Apostles taught Baptism is essential for salvation (Mark 16:16; I Peter 3:20-21).
We believe Baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe the decision to be baptized is up to the individual, and they must fully understand what it means to be a Christ-follower.
We believe in the 5-fold ministries (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers) to equip believers in Christ to do the work of service.
